1994-2019 DKB’s 25 Year IPA Journey

At Diamond Knot we love IPAs. Creating an IPA is a true craft and takes time and patience to come up with just the right taste. From 1994-2014 Diamond Knot produced less than 6 IPA styles, but then from 2014-2019 we have created over 30 different styles of IPA! Why did we up our game? Well, new IPAs were created to showcase new hop varieties that were not available 20 years ago. As with anything, over time new improvements could be made and new varieties could be created. It is truly amazing to see how far we (and the IPA world) has come since 1994.

Our original IPA and Industrial IPA that were created in 1994, so we’ve been doing this for a long time! Our original IPA and Industrial IPA still sell well today. You can’t argue with a classic and our original IPA and Industrial IPA are just that. In learning from what our fans love and sticking with the tradition of Diamond Knot standing behind the style of IPA, we decided to refocus on the style in 2014. Today’s spectrum of IPAs range in flavor from Malty and bitter, to light and highly aromatic. We have so many options for you to choose from, you’ll be happy no matter what you decide. Your fellow Diamond Knot fans have shown us how much they love IPAs. Fan favorites include DKB IPA, Industrial IPA, Azacca, Troptastic, Brut IPA, Juicy IPA and Flagstate IPA.
