Spotlight on Fresh Brewery Salads

The kick-off of another school season is a good indicator that summer is coming to a swift close. That doesn’t mean that we should be turning our backs on any of our fresh salad offerings. We’re shining the spotlight on four of our favorite salad offerings. Looking for something a little heartier but like the sound of one of our salad options? Any of them can be ordered as a wrap, served in a garlic herb tortilla, of course!

Chicken Thai Salad

Served on a bed of fresh spinach, our chicken thai salad comes tossed with a peanut vinaigrette that we make in-house. Fresh chicken breast provides some solid protein while roasted red pepper and cilantro round out the flavors in this salad. Sliced almonds, sesame seeds and fried wontons bring just the right level of crunch.

Diamond Knot Caesar   

No salad menu would be complete without a Caesar offering, right? Pretty standard but nonetheless delicious, our Caesar is made with chopped romaine letter, Caesar dressing (house-made of course), shaved parmesan and croutons that we cut by hand! Amp up this salad by adding brown ale marinated flank steak, grilled prawns, wild caught blackened salmon or chicken breast. For a little DK spin, we marinate the chicken breast in porter.

Gorgonzola Steak Salad

Marinated in brown ale, the flank steak we use in our gorgonzola steak salad is thin sliced and served with fresh spinach. This salad is heavy on the veggies, with grilled bell peppers, onions and portabella mushrooms included as well. A tad bit of dairy, via  gorgonzola crumbles, some hand cut croutons and one of our house-made dressings make this salad a knothead favorite.

Brewpub Cobb

Last but most certainly not least, our brewpub cobb salad. This one is all about smoked meat, served with mesquite smoked turkey and cob smoked ham. The brewpup cobb comes served with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, hardboiled egg, pickled red onions, hand cut croutons, sharp cheddar cheese, gorgonzola crumbles and your choice of house-made dressing.

Given all of the ingredients we like to include in our delicious salads, we offer many of them in half-orders as well. Stop in for a salad soon, before one of our most beloved seasons comes to a close.
