A Pacific Northwest Staple: Welcome to Snohomish County’s Oldest Craft Brewery
When you think of the Pacific Northwest, a few things immediately come to mind: breathtaking coastal views, towering evergreens, and an unparalleled craft beer scene. Washington State has long been a pioneer in independent brewing, and at the heart of that rich history is Diamond Knot Brewing Company.
Established in 1994, Diamond Knot holds the proud title of being the oldest continually operating craft brewery in Snohomish County. For nearly three decades, we have been fiercely independent, hand-crafting exceptional beers and serving up memorable dining experiences for locals and travelers alike. Whether you are a lifelong fan or a first-time visitor looking for the perfect Mukilteo brewpub, our mission remains the same: to provide outstanding craft beer, delicious scratch-made food, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Here is what makes Diamond Knot Brewing Company a must-visit destination in the Washington State craft beer landscape, and why our unique locations have something for everyone in the family.
Three Unique Locations, One Exceptional Standard
We understand that every great beer deserves an equally great atmosphere. That is why we operate three distinct locations, each offering its own unique vibe while maintaining the high quality and hospitality Diamond Knot is known for.
1. The Brewery & Alehouse (Mukilteo, WA) Located right on the historic Mukilteo waterfront at 621 Front Street, our flagship Brewery & Alehouse is where the Diamond Knot magic truly shines. This location perfectly balances a vibrant, traditional pub experience with a welcoming, family-friendly environment. We feature a thoughtful layout with a distinct separation between our family dining side and our 21+ bar side.
If you grab a seat on the bar side, you’ll experience one of our most beloved traditions: grabbing a bowl of complimentary peanuts and tossing the shells right on the floor! It is a nostalgic, laid-back touch that has made the Alehouse a local favorite. From enjoying our curated music mix to taking in the historic building’s charm, the Mukilteo Alehouse is the ultimate spot to unwind after a long day or grab a bite before catching the ferry.
2. The Brewpub @ MLT (Mountlake Terrace, WA) If you are looking for one of the most versatile Mountlake Terrace restaurants, look no further than our Brewpub @ MLT. Located at 5602 232nd Street SW, this expansive space features comfortable indoor dining and a fantastic outdoor patio seating area.
The Mountlake Terrace location is designed to accommodate everyone, from large family gatherings to intimate date nights. We even open early on the weekends (8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays!) so you can kick off your morning with great food and a relaxed, community-focused vibe. Whether you are ordering a full meal, grabbing takeout, or relaxing on the patio with a fresh pint, our MLT Brewpub delivers.
3. The Production Brewery & Taproom (Mukilteo, WA) Ever wonder where the magic is made? Our Production Brewery & Taproom, located at 4602 Chennault Beach Road, is the beating heart of Diamond Knot’s brewing operations. Open Monday through Friday for kegs and packaged beer to go, it is the perfect pit stop to stock up for your weekend adventures. On Friday and Saturday afternoons, the taproom bar opens up, allowing guests to enjoy fresh brews right where they are crafted. It is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at independent Washington brewing.
More Than Just Great Beer: A Menu Built to Satisfy
While we are incredibly proud of our legacy as a premier craft brewery in Snohomish County, we are equally passionate about our food. Diamond Knot isn’t just a place to grab a drink; it is a full-service culinary destination. Our menus go far beyond standard pub fare, offering innovative, scratch-made dishes designed to pair perfectly with our beers.
Guests frequently rave about our bold, flavor-packed appetizers like the Cheesy Pork Loaded Tots—a shareable fan-favorite that perfectly complements a cold pint. For the main course, you can’t go wrong with our highly-rated Cuban Sandwich, our fresh coastal Fish & Chips, or our savory street tacos.
Looking for a truly unique dining experience? Our Mukilteo Alehouse features our famous Hot Rock Grilling, allowing you to cook premium cuts of meat exactly to your liking right at your table on a super-heated granite stone. It is an interactive, mouth-watering experience you won’t find at an average restaurant.
And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the kids (or the kids at heart)! Diamond Knot brews its very own craft Root Beer. We highly recommend ordering it with a scoop of ice cream for the ultimate root beer float—the perfect sweet treat to cap off your meal.
The Beer That Started It All
At our core, we are brewers. Since 1994, our independent operations have been dedicated to innovating and perfecting our craft. From crisp, refreshing options like our Lower Deck Lager to robust, hop-forward IPAs and rich stouts, our tap lists are constantly rotating with flagship staples and exciting seasonal releases.
Because we brew everything ourselves, we have the freedom to experiment, creating special releases that push the boundaries of flavor while honoring traditional brewing techniques. Whether you are taking home packaged beer from our to-go coolers or enjoying a freshly poured draft at the bar, you are tasting decades of Washington State craft beer history in every glass.
Join the Diamond Knot Community
We believe that a great brewery is more than just a business; it is a community gathering place. That is why we regularly host special events, collaborate with other local brewers, and offer excellent customer appreciation programs. Whether you are stopping in for a quick bite, booking a private event or banquet, or grabbing a keg for your next party, our dedicated staff is here to make your experience exceptional.
