Scoop up the blanket, some snacks and pile up the friends and family to head to the SCCA Seafair Summer 4th celebration at Gas Works Park. We’ve heard that the finale promises fireworks over 1,000 feet high. With plenty of entertainment, live music and food all day, you can make a day of it or head over just in advance of the show. It’s been voted one of the best shows in the country for a reason, people, its spectacular! Best of all? It’s absolutely free to get in.

For those looking to do something slightly more low key than the crazy well-attended SCCA Seafair celebration, there are tons of Fourth of July shows in areas surrounding Seattle, like Tacoma, Sammamish and Bainbridge.
